I get asked about partner codes constantly. Usually the same question: do they give you free trades or discounted spreads?
No. AvaTrade has no commission on forex trades. You pay the spread. That's the cost. A partner code won't affect it.
The code 128979 activates the bonus program. Additional trading capital depending on your deposit. That's all it does.
How much do you get?
Put in $1,000, receive $200 bonus.
Put in $2,000, get $400.
$5,000-$9,999 earns you $1,000 bonus.
Top tier is $14,000 on deposits over $100,000. That's for serious capital.
UK accounts start at £160 for £800 deposited. Top tier reaches £11,200.
Minimum to open an account is $100. Bonus requires $1,000 minimum.
Finding the partner code field
Registration page. After you enter your phone number, there's a small link saying "Have a Partner Code?". Click on that text. A field drops down. Type **128979**.
Most people miss it because it doesn't look like a proper form field until you click.
If the system rejects it, don't panic. Finish signing up. Contact support before funding. Tell them you want 128979 applied. They handle this regularly.
Bonus withdrawal conditions
You need to trade a certain volume.
About 10,000 units for every dollar of bonus. $200 bonus requires 2,000,000 units of trading volume. Can take time with smaller position sizes. Active traders hit it quicker than expected.
Your own money stays yours. Access it whenever you need. Bonus funds remain locked until volume is met.
